Rural NL Drinking Water Project team members were present at the International Marine and Freshwater Environments Conference in St. John’s, NL on August 8, as presenters in the special session on “Water Safety and Public Health”. The first part of this session was chaired by Dr. Kelly Vodden and Sarah Minnes. Kalen presented in the first session.
The Water Project had a strong presence this year at the Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador Symposium. The Symposium took place from May 1-3, 2014 at Hotel Gander. The Water Project was able to have an interactive booth that displayed preliminary findings from the survey and case studies as well as profile the work our interns
