From March 3-7, 2014 two members of the water project were in Ontario, representing the project for two different events. Sarah Minnes was attending and presenting at the Canadian Water and Wastewater Association’s conference entitled, Making the Pieces Fit: Facing Water Quality Challenges Togetherin Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON. Team member, Sarah Breen was also in Ontario at that time attending the Canadian Water Network’s Student and Young Professionals workshop entitled, The Messy World of Policy- making: Science, Stakeholders and Sausage Making, which took place in Ottawa, ON. We are certainly getting ourselves out there as a team and learning great things to bring back to Newfoundland and Labrador.
