World Water Day 2015

For the second year in a row, the Exploring Solutions for Sustainable Rural Drinking Water Systems research project, on behalf of the Environmental Policy Institute at the Grenfell Campus of Memorial University, participated in World Water Day celebrations. Research assistants Belizario Carballo and Lindey Touzel discussed source water protection measures and watershed dynamics with over 100 local students at Corner Brook City Hall on March 20, 2015. Other participating organizations included Ducks Unlimited, Bonne Bay Marine Station, Humber ACAP, Qalipu First Nation, Red Cross and the City of Corner Brook.
