Alice Will

AliceMaster of Arts in Geography, Memorial University

With a background in resource management and interpretation, Alice has been working with Parks Canada in various national parks across the country for the past eight years. Upon completion of a BA in Environmental Studies and an Ecosystem Management Technician diploma, Alice worked in Resource Management for Wood Buffalo National Park. This experience sparked an interest in exploring park-community relationships as they relate to park management and decision making. With the support of Wood Buffalo National park and local Aboriginal groups, Alice pursued an MA in Geography from Memorial University in the field of Human Dimensions of Wildlife. Her project focused on understanding public (primarily Aboriginal) attitudes toward wood bison, management, and disease in Wood Buffalo National Park. She is now acting as an intern with the Environmental Policy Institute at Memorial University, Grenfell campus and works seasonally for Gros Morne National Park.  Alice is interested in future opportunities to explore community engagement and resource management.
